The new queens of the Los Angeles footballing circuit, Angel City FC, have announced a follow-up NFT collection to commemorate their second season in the game. This new set of landmark ‘We Are L.A.’ tokens, in association with club partner, Crypto.com, will feature world class photography from artists in its collaborative residency program.
As part of the team’s community efforts, Crypto.com and ACFC launched an ongoing initiative to support local artists. This endeavor then allowed rising stars within the Los Angeles region to receive exposure in a professional paid photography position that involved chronicling ACFC’s home matches.
Following the successful residency, ACFC and Crypto.com then selected three graduates from the program to designate their favorite images to distribute to fans in the shape of NFTs. This marks the second such drop from the rising stars in football, following an inaugural season NFT collection that saw 20k redemptions from thousands of fans around the world.

Now, as Angel City FC enjoys its second season in action, these incredibly images will be engraved immutably on the blockchain forever. Essentially providing an excellent opportunity for fans to celebrate the team and acquire a digital memento that will never go out of style, through the all-new ‘We Are L.A.’ NFT collection.
The NFTs will comprise of three distinct images by three of the top photographers from the residency and will drop during July, August and November of this year. Each arriving in one of three tiers of scarcity, Common, Rare, and Ultra Rare.
Following the drop, holders of the NFTs will stand a chance at receiving the kind of top-quality utility that money cannot buy. This will include, on-field experiences, signed jerseys, merchandise packs and more. While also allowing fans to learn everything there is to know about ACFC via social media accounts and the official website.
