Renowned NFT outfit, the Proof collective, has struck a partnership with Mona, a 3D world-building platform, to develop “Moonbirds Monaverse.” The virtual world will cater to the Moonbirds community and feature town halls, art reveals, viewing parties, and many other fun experiences.
The announcement was made during the ongoing Consensus conference, where an early preview of the virtual world was demonstrated on the “100 PROOF” podcast. A joint statement notes that Mona will offer technical support to help Proof build and expand the virtual universe.
Launched in April 2022, Moonbirds is a 10K PFP project, where NFTs grant holders access to the unique community. The upcoming Metaverse is the next step in the evolution of the highly popular collection, which has seen over $644 million in sales since launch.

Moonbirds Monaverse to Offer Unique Holder Experiences
As Kevin Rose, cofounder and CEO of Proof, notes, the objective is to provide incredible experiences to Moonbirds holders that combine “immersive art and technology.” He goes on to add that “the world Mona has created unlocks a new way for Moonbirds holders to hang out and enjoy digital art together.”
The announcement comes as welcome news for the Proof community, which recently witnessed the launch of a new collection exclusively meant for Moonbirds holders. Dubbed “Moonbirds: Diamond Exhibition,” the collection features artworks from 22 artists, including NFT superstars such as Beeple, Terrell Jones, and Summer Wagner.
The news also arrives four months after Proof entered into a partnership with United Talent Agency to facilitate brand expansion beyond the Web3 realm.
