Google Cloud has announced the expansion of its Startups Program to include additional benefits for Web3-specific projects. The goal of this initiative is to provide technology, community, and resources for Web3 builders to enable them to focus on innovation instead of infrastructure as they build decentralized apps, Web3 tooling, services, NFTs and more.
Through the updated service, technology projects can apply for the program and opt-in to the Web3-specific benefits. The new benefits give Web3 projects and startups access to Google Cloud credits, technical and collaboration support, hands-on learning labs and Google Cloud courses, gated Discord channels with Google Cloud Web3 product and engineering teams, VIP access to Google Cloud Web3 community events, exclusive grants from foundation partners, and discounts on products from various companies.
The Google Cloud startup program offers up to $200,000 over two years in Google Cloud credits, which startups can use to quickly and securely build their decentralized applications, protocols, or other services. Those using the service will also have access to fast, high-quality Customer Care Enhanced Support, Google Cloud Startup Customer Engineers and a Startup Success Manager to accelerate onboarding.

Other Benefits of the New Web3 Google Cloud Program
In addition, the program provides access to a total of up to $3 million in investments from the Polygon Ventures Ecosystem Fund, priority review from the Ventures Team, and access to all Polygon Venture benefits and more.
Futhermore, those participating will receive discounts on products from various companies, including Nansen, Alchemy, and ThirdWeb. With the program, Web3 startups and emerging projects have access to the resources and community they need.
