To celebrate “Star Wars Day” (May the fourth (be with you)), Cryptoys has announced an NFT collection featuring iconic characters from the cultural phenomenon, set to arrive on May 24.
The Star Wars NFTs include fifteen “digital toys” featuring legendary figures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Darth Vader on the Flow blockchain. Each item sticking to the same price point as Cryptoys other successful collectibles, costing $39.99 apiece.
These limited-edition Star Wars toys come in five distinct cartoon skin designs, each with its own rarity traits ranging from “Common” to “Ultra Grail”. As you might expect, the rarer digital assets are more highly coveted and typically sell for more due to their scarcity. However, there’s a catch, each package is a “blind box” — buyers have no idea which character they will receive until unboxing the digital “Holocron” (the cube-shaped item that serves as the data storage device).

Other Notable Pop Culture Collectibles
Cryptoys offers numerous popular digital collections, including three series of Masters of the Universe, and Zoo-F-O Escape Genesis Series. The Masters of the Universe series offers esteemed characters like He-Man and Skeletor, attracting collectors with a nostalgic appeal and high-quality designs. On the flip side, the Zoo-F-O Escape Genesis Series includes creatively designed non-fungible assets based on imaginative alien creatures. The notable success of Cryptoys stems from its engaging, diverse collectibles that give fans different ways to interact with pop culture entertainment franchises.
However, Cryptoys isn’t the only digital asset platform making waves in this much-loved media landscape. Other pop culture assets outside the NFT hub include Game of Thrones, Godzilla vs. Kong, David Bowie, and the Eternal Collection by Anthony Hopkins, among many others.
