The Shiba Inu community has been gearing up for the imminent Shibarium’s launch. Recently, the team released a potential date for its layer-2 protocol’s launch. The lead developer of the network, Shytoshi Kusama, shared a post that highlighted that Shibarium ‘will be likely’ released at the Blockchain Futurist Conference. The event is scheduled for August 15 and 16 in Toronto, Canada.
A few hours back, Elon Musk claimed on X.com that he loves Canada. Musk’s post was accompanied by a picture featuring him with a T-shirt that had the aforementioned phrase printed on it. It seems like Kusama is now expecting the Tesla CEO to grace the Shibarium launch event. He reposted Musk’s tweet, and said,
“See you at Blockchain Futurist Conference.”

Shiba Inu Army members flooded the comment section with “bullish” and “amazing” exclamations. However, others promptly pointed out that expecting Musk to attend the event is just speculation. There has not been any official word, and community members are patiently waiting for time to tell if he will be present at the event or not. That being said, the spirit of the members of the Shiba Inu Army is quite high. ‘Jolt’ recently tweeted,
“If he’s coming, this will be huge exposure for Shib and Shibarium.”

Shiba Inu Bearish Sentiment Reduces
Shiba Inu’s price is up almost 7% on the weekly. At press time, it was trading at $0.000008338. Along the gradual bullish ascent, the bearish sentiment associated with SHIB has reduced by 13%. Parallelly, the total number of social contributors has also risen by almost 38% over the last seven days. This indicated that pessimism is gradually evaporating and chitter-chatter on social media has started rising, owing to the euphoria.
