Animoca Brands has formed a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Polygon Labs to launch the MoonRealm Express Accelerator. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to stimulate the development of Web3 solutions and products in a variety of emerging fields.
Fostering Growth in Decentralized Identity, SocialFi, and GameFi
MoonRealm Express Accelerator is an integral part of the company’s Mocaverse project. It aims to support global builders in emerging sectors such as decentralized identity, SocialFi, and GameFi by providing vital resources. The accelerator is committed to assisting builders from the early stages of concept development to the real-world application of their ideas.

Expanding the Mocaverse Ecosystem
Yat Sui, executive chair and co-founder of Animoca Brands, shared the mission of Mocaverse: to connect, aggregate, and expand the Animoca Brands network, ultimately building the largest Web3 ecosystem in culture and entertainment. The MoonRealm program will initially focus on strengthening the Mocaverse ecosystem, particularly around the recently launched Moca ID and Realm Points on the Polygon chain.
First Hackathon Announcement and Partnership Contributions
The program is set to announce its first hackathon early next year. During this event, participants will develop protocols that use the Moca ID on-chain identity ecosystem and incorporate Realm Points as essential assets. As part of the partnership, AWS has pledged US$1.1 million to support up to 500 startups through cloud resources, technical masterclasses, exposure to venture capital, and comprehensive go-to-market support. Polygon Labs has also committed to providing workshops and contributing cash bounties for hackathons to encourage innovation within the Web3 ecosystem.
