Doritos is the latest big brand to jump into the Metaverse with its own amazing snack-filled digital event. As such, 3 days of tasty givaways will take place at Doritos Triangle Studios in Decentraland, from 9pm UTC on February 8 to 9pm UTC on February 11.
The giveaway isn’t limited to crypto users only; anyone can participate, either as a guest or using their crypto wallet. Once signed in, you can create your own custom beats and test your skills with minigames for a chance to win exciting prizes.

That said, to explore the Doritos Metaverse, you will have to create an NFT avatar to serve as your representation in mini-games. You can change the color of your skin, hairstyle, clothes, and shoes, plus sport any accessories you desire.

Once up and running, you can begin exploring the all-new Doritos-shaped triangle tower in Decentraland. There will be points to be won as you explore, and they will determine the kind of NFTs you stand to earn. For example, you can win either Meetbits #24 by Larva Labs or a mashup of Clone-X #12118 by RTFKT and Takashi Murakami.
Additionally, players stand to win eight free wearables, with four locked and four unlocked. Plus, there are two custom gaming rigs by BRParadox all of which will run on the Polygon blockchain.

As mentioned earlier, Doritos is the latest top brand to jump on the NFT and Metaverse bandwagon. It’s a move that has been welcomed by Sandeep Nailwal, CEO of Polygon. Reacting to the news of this three-day event, Nailwal is happy to welcome the tortilla chips producer to Polygon’s ecosystem before adding that “the reach of Polygon in the mainstream is mindboggling.”
