Mobile Web3 MOBA Game Buddy Arena Now Available

Buddy Arena, a web3-powered mobile MOBA title by Singapore-based developers Affyn, is now available to download and play on iOS and Android devices via the App Store and Google Play store.

The game sees players team up to take part in fast-paced multiplayer battles to earn Crystals, which play a key part in its play-and-earn economy.

Buddy Arena utilises Affyn’s Omnia Sync technology, which allows in-game NFTs to be seamlessly moved across blockchains without compromising security.

What is the gameplay of Buddy Arena like?

Battles in Buddy Arena consist of 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 player-versus player match-ups. Each battle lasts between 2-3 minutes, which each player using a variety of creatures – which each have their own unique playstyle – to conquer their opponents.

Alongside quick thumbs, strategy is a core element of Buddy Arena, with your choice of Buddy, weapons and abilities – and how they synchronize with your team – being key to victory.

In line with their launch, Buddy Arena has collaborated with Imaginary Ones, with holders able to access exclusive in-game content and benefits.

Is there a token involved?

Buddy Arena utilises Affyn’s native $FYN token, a non-inflationary utility token that’s central to the play-and-earn economy.

$FYN allows players to enhance their in-game experience by purchasing skins and cosmetic items, and can also be used to boost character experience.

Buddy Arena’s ‘Play 2 Airdrops’ phase – which will allow players to earn $FYN tokens as they compete – is set to begin on April 4.
