Cool Cats, the team behind the popular blue-chip non-fungible token collection Cool Cats, has partnered with major American department store chain Macy’s to offer digital artists and creatives free figurines. In this article, we shall explore more details about the figurine giveaway.
Cool Cats X Macy’s Integration
In an April 16 blog post, Cool Cats, the same team that launched the popular Cool Cats NFT collection, confirmed teaming up with retail store Macy’s to issue free figurines to digital artists and creators. NFT artists and creators have until April 30, 2024, to claim their giveaway.

Launched in July 2021, Cool Cats is a non-fungible token collection from renowned digital artists Rob Mehew, Colin Egan, Evan Luza, and Tom Williamson. During the 2021-2021 NFT Bull Run, Cool Cat was one of the NFT collections that took collectors by storm.
On the other hand, Macy’s is a global retail chain with more than 500 stores in the United States. Its flagship store is located at Herald Square in the New York City borough of Manhattan. As of January 2023, the retail company had 94,000 employees and annual revenue of $25.3 billion.
What Are Cool Cats X Macy’s Figurines?
The Cool Cats NFT project and Macy’s announced their partnership in November last year. At the time, the joint team launched an art contest titled “Color Me Cool.” This collaboration was set to inspire the creator in everyone to make a lasting, unique piece of art that blends physical artistry and digital innovation.
In November last year, Cool Cats and Macy’s gave away 1,000 exclusive commemorative parade figurines featuring Blue Cat and Chugs. The joint team now offers the remaining blank figurines to all creators and artists. The personalized creations of NFT artists, who will have claimed their figurines, will be showcased on phigital collectibles.
