What is ZEDx?
ZEDx is the next evolution of the web3 horse racing game ZED RUN and represents a complete overhaul to enhance user experience and gameplay. Built from the ground up, ZEDx incorporates a range of new features designed to streamline and elevate the digital horse racing experience. According to the official announcement, ZEDx will be “a big departure” from its predecessor.
Among the new features are 24/7 automated racing, a dynamic auction breeding, spectator engagement and racehorse retirement. In addition, the integration of $ZED token will be central to the new ZEDx experience, and will play a crucial role in the game’s economy and reward system.
Players can look forward to a more intuitive user interface, optimized for mobile devices, and improved graphics powered by Unreal Engine, ensuring a fully immersive experience.
ZEDx Beta Testing is also underway and players will have the opportunity to participate to provide feedback before the official launch. More details on how to apply for the beta test will be released soon.
What happens to ZED RUN during transition?
The current ZED RUN platform will continue to operate with ongoing events and prize pools, along with the introduction of engagement-based rewards to encourage continued participation during the transition.
Acknowledging the loyalty of its player base, ZED RUN is implementing a transition plan that includes legacy rewards based on current participation and ownership. Whilst existing horses will not be transferred directly to ZEDx, players will receive rewards such as starting racers and breeding horses to ensure a strong start in the new game.
Further details of the reward system and transition plan will be finalized and shared by the end of the following month.
