The Shiba Inu [SHIB] market saw a notable spike with the start of the weekend. The meme coin surged by nearly 5% over the past 24 hours. At press time, SHIB was trading at $0.00001721. It should be noted that the asset was trading at a low of $0.00001645, earlier today. This sudden spike in the meme coin’s price restored hope among its investors. Many think the asset has a good chance of reaching the one-cent milestone. Some even speculated the possibility of SHIB reaching the 2-cent mark.
When Can Shiba Inu Surge to 2 Cents?
To achieve this milestone, Shiba Inu is required to touch several other levels. The first stop is the asset’s all-time high of $0.00008845, which hit about three years ago on Oct. 28, 2021. SHIB is currently 80.52% below this peak. According to data from Telegaon, this feat can be attained in the year 2026. The next stop is at 1 cent. Investors have been eagerly waiting for Shiba Inu to rally to 1 cent. But this road appears to be challenging. Despite this, Telegaon believes that SHIB could reach this zone sometime between 2025 and 2040.

Moving on to two cents, Shiba Inu is predicted to reach this figure by 2040, the end of the next decade. It will be about 16 years from now. This gives holders plenty of time to store the asset it in their portfolio.
In addition, SHIB could face quite some challenges before reaching this level. This may include the volatile nature of the market, uncertain or stringent regulatory climate, and lack of utility. But the asset’s previous records bring back optimism into the market.
