The Bitcoin conference is generating a lot of excitement, and with Trump’s remarks about firing the SEC Chair Gary Gensler attracted a lot of cheers from the fellow Bitcoiners. At the Nashville Bitcoin conference, Trump said, “I will fire Gary Gensler and appoint a new SEC Chair on day one and I will appoint new SEC chair who believes America should build the future not block.
The former president also said that if he is elected, he will appoint a Bitcoin and Crypto presidential council, who will be responsible for getting transparency into the sector. “We are going to have a great industry,” he added.
Trump also addressed how they will manage the supply and demand for electricity. He said, “We will be having power plants built, we will be using fossil fuels. We will do it in an environmentally friendly way. If we don’t do it, China and others are going to be doing it. Let’s do it and do it right. If crypto is going to define the future I want it to be mined, minted and made in the USA.”
