The crypto market ended Thursday on a shifty note, with most top coins trading in the red zone. At the top, Bitcoin found some solace after gaining 0.25% in the past 24 hours.
However, the rest of the top coins, barring BNB and ADA, ended the day losing a notable portion of value. Conversely, a handful of meme coins have picked up pace in the middle of the week.

Bitcoin
The biggest crypto in the world is struggling to find its rhythm. However, unlike its peers, the crypto has gained 0.25% value in the past 24 hours.
BTC is currently trading near the 64,000-dollar mark, with a 7-day loss of 4.04%. Another important upgrade for the coin comes in the form of 2.4 billion dollars of BTC options that expire today. The development will also determine BTC’s route for the next few days.
Ethereum
Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum has lost over 1% in value in the past 24 hours. The coin is nearing the 3,100-dollar mark, having lost 3.90% in the past 7 days.
While BTC is constantly trading above the 64k-dollar mark, ETH keeps losing value on a daily basis. At the same time, the Ethereum ETF flows have flipped positive even with ETHE total outflows topping 2 billion dollars.
Solana
Solana has lost 4.82% value in the past 24 hours, while its 7-day loss stands at 9.20%. The coin was about to hit the 194-dollar mark a few days ago.
However, now it is trading at 161.02 dollars, with traders expecting even more fluctuations in the coming days. After the market witnessed a 312 million dollar liquidation, the entire industry has become a bloodbath.
The significant liquidation is also expected to be the primary cause of Solana’s decline.
Popcat
Popcat, the SOL-based meme coin, has taken the market by surprise. With most coins losing value on Thursday, POPCAT has gained 11.84% in the past 24 hours.
Amid the plethora of Solana-based meme coins, POPCAT is making a standout name for itself. Given its 7-day loss of 23.16%, analysts are expecting a turnaround in the coming days.
Ripple
XRP, or Ripple, has lost 7.29% in the past 24 hours after spending a couple of days showing a bullish trend.
Its 7-day loss has also reached 6.55%, and the coin is now close to 0.56 dollars. Similar to SOL, XRP has also witnessed Ripple’s major dip because of the 312 million dollar liquidation.
Dogecoin
DOGE is one of the meme coins that has lost over 10% value in the past 7 days. In the past 24 hours, the coin has lost 3.27% of its value and is trading at 0.1162 dollars.
POPCAT has reversed the fates of Dogecoin and Pepe, with the latter meme tokens struggling. At the same time, more meme coins are emerging every day, making it tough for meme coins like Dogecoin to make a mark.
