Pepe (PEPE) and Bonk (BONK) are among the best-performing cryptocurrencies of the last year. The frog-themed crypto has increased by 1130.8% since September 2023, while the dog-themed meme coin has increased by an eye-watering 8625.3% in the same time frame.
Both assets are also experiencing a trend reversal after Bitcoin’s (BTC) climb to $62,000 today. PEPE is up by 10.5% in the daily charts, 8.1% in the weekly charts, and 9.4% in the 14-day charts. The asset is still down by 1.7% over the previous month.

On the other hand, BONK is up by 8.7% in the daily charts, 2.3% in the weekly charts, and 4% in the 14-day charts. Despite the rally, the dog-themed crypto is down 7.5% over the previous month.
Although both meme coins have performed stellarly over the last year, fans and investors wonder which will hit the one-cent target first. Let’s find out.

Pepe’s Journey To 1 Cent
The frog-themed crypto is quite a long way away from the one-cent ($0.01) mark. The meme coin has to rally by 126,322.25% to hit the $0.01 mark.
According to Telegaon, the meme coin could hit the $0.01 mark sometime between 2040 and 2050.

Changelly is more bullish on PEPE, predicting the asset will breach the one-cent mark in October 2028, about four years from now.
Bonk’s Journey To 1 Cent
For BONK to hit $0.01, the asset has to rally by 57,338.25%. According to Telegaon, BONK will hit the $0.01 mark sooner than PEPE. The platform predicts the dog-themed crypto to hit $0.01 sometime between 2035 and 2040.
