Illuvium, a decentralized game studio and decentralized autonomous organization that combines the non-fungible token technology with internet gaming, has partnered with popular watch brand G-shock to launch a new non-fungible token collection on the Ethereum scaling solution network Immutable X. The new epic collection has appeared just a few days after its Wave 3 Alpha NFT collection sell-out.
Illuvium Taps G-Shock To Launch A New NFT Collection
In a December 03 blog post, the blockchain gaming franchise Illuvium confirmed collaborating with G-Shock, a renowned watch brand from Casio known for its durability and shock resistance, to release new non-fungible token collection cards. The NFT will launch next week on December 09, 2024. These new epic NFT cards will be used in the Illuvium Card Collection game.

Launched in 2023, Illuvium Beyond is a digital collectible card game that lets players create and customize their own Illuvitars, compete on leaderboards, and earn rewards. This collectible card game offers endless possibilities for collectors to explore and enjoy. Illuvium Beyond NFT game also features exciting possibilities for the future with the development of a casual PvP card game, which requires approval from the DAO.
Unlike the other games in the franchise, the Illuvium Beyond is more of a collection-based affair than a fully-fledged game. In Illuvium: Beyond, players compete to collect the most powerful Illuvitar NFTs based on our in-game characters Illuvials. Illuvitars are unique and creative versions of Illuvials that exist beyond the Illuvium Universe. Each Illuvitar is hand-drawn with three different expressions to collect.
Illuvium And G-Shock Integration
Under the new integration, Illuvium anticipated leveraging G-shock branding capabilities to launch a new Illuvitar NFT collection. Each G-Shock Illuvitar NFT will have one of three backgrounds, available as holographic and non-holographic digital cards. This G-Shock collaboration is part of the third wave of NFT cards collection released for the Illuvium Beyond. Previously, Illuvium Beyond partnered with the video game retailer GameStop and esports organization Team Liquid to release branded cards.
