On December 12 and 13, 2024, Dr. Hakim Hacid will join over 3,000 C-Suite executives, more than 200 startups, and upwards of 75 speakers from around the world at the UAE’s #1 artificial intelligence conference tailored for CXOs.

Dr. Hakim Hacid serves as the Executive Director and Chief Researcher of the AI Research Unit at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), an advanced scientific research center located in the UAE. He holds the position of Honorary Professor at Macquarie University in Australia.
Before joining TII, he served as an Associate Professor at Zayed University, where he made significant contributions to research in data analytics, information retrieval, and security. He served as the Chair of the Computing and Applied Technologies Department.
Dr. Hacid has authored several research articles in prestigious journals and conferences and holds several industrial patents to his name. His research focuses on databases, data mining and analytics, programming, web information systems, natural language processing, and security.
Dr. Hakim Hacid earned his PhD in Data Mining/Databases from the University of Lyon, France. He earned a double master’s in Computer Science, consisting of a Master’s by Research and a Professional Master, from the same university.
