Investors have started shuffling funds and diverting them towards altcoins in 2023. Right from XRP, Cardano, and Chainlink, to Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, the top gainers’ list on Wednesday, March 22, boasted of a host of prominent names. All of the aforementioned crypto assets fetched their users’ returns in the 5%-15% bracket over the past 24 hours.
In the midst of the price rise climate, prominent exchanges have started listing community favorite tokens. For instance, Crypto.com recently listed the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s BONE token.

Is another Shiba Inu listing underway?
Today, another prominent Japanese exchange, bitFlyer announced that it will start “handling” Shiba Inu. To commemorate the same, the exchange will give away SHIB tokens to selected customers via a lottery. Notably, the exchange has around 2.5 million users.
The Shiba Inu community has been eagerly waiting for top exchanges in Japan to list the SHIB token. In fact, Shiba Inu proponent “Cheggy” had launched a petition requesting Japanese exchanges ‘To List SHIB’. It has allegedly been more than 200 days since the campaign has been put to sea.
Japan’s crypto stance has notably eased over the years. The country has already made significant strides in NFT and Metaverse ecosystem. In fact, the government is also looking to ease certain rules. A listing, in such an environment, could be considered to be a boon for SHIB.

The social hype associated with Shiba Inu continues to be quite high. A recent tweet from LunarCrush revealed that Shiba Inu’s social activity surpassed 47.88k. The same was at its quarterly high. The analytics platform further went on to reveal, that on 10 similar occurrences in the past, SHIB’s price glided up 12.4%. Thus, tapping on the refined social sentiment and the latest bitFlyer announcement, SHIB’s rally could be renewed going forward.
