Undisputed star of the NFT show, Mike Winkelman, aka Beeple, has reached another tremendous milestone in his artistic journey. On October 5, his infamous Everydays project hit the 6000 mark, adding another 1000 pieces since his $69 million NFT sale.
Way back in the long-forgotten realm of 2006, the little known and not entirely talented artist made a pledge to create a new artwork every day. This then blossomed into a gargantuan collection, as come rain or shine, Mr. Beeple stuck true to his word and published his daily creations via his Twitter account.
Since then, Beeple’s mammoth task has enabled him to develop from a mediocre artist to a full-blown legitimate talent. Essentially, providing him with the motivation to hone his skills and master the art of digital image creation. Now, over 16 years on, he has become one of the prominent contemporary artists in operation, and regularly garners millions of dollars for his art.

The Art that Sparked a Revolution
Beeple arguably kickstarted the modern NFT trend back in March 2021, when he minted the first 5000 pieces in his Everydays project as a single NFT which eventually sold for $69 million. This had the knock-on effect of bringing NFTs firmly into the limelight, where their gained some serious media coverage. What then followed will go down in history as the era where NFTs became the most talked about technological advancement of the time.
Since then, anyone could have forgiven Beeple for stepping back from Everydays after his first 5000 artworks made bank. However, completely unwavered by the gargantuan piles of cash, the eminent artist continues to publish a new creation every single day!
