BNB Chain, the community-driven blockchain ecosystem that includes the world’s largest smart contract blockchain by daily transactions, has announced the launch of the Memecoin Daily Airdrop Series, an event designed to spotlight and reward the top-performing memecoins within its ecosystem and give back to the community. From December 12 to December 19, 2024, BNB Chain will purchase 33 BNB worth of the leading memecoin each day and distribute the tokens to 1,000 BNB and CAKE holders.

Each day’s top-performing memecoin on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) will be selected based on three criteria: 24-hour trading volume (40%), market capitalization (30%), and price increases over a 24-hour period (30%). A live leaderboard, launching December 11, will track these metrics in real time, ensuring a transparent and competitive environment for all participating memecoins. Once a memecoin secures the top position, BNB Chain will purchase 33 BNB worth of its tokens for distribution to 1,000 BNB and CAKE holders.
Daily Competition Period and Eligibility Criteria:
- Day 1: December 12, 12:00 PM – December 13, 11:59 AM UTC (Memecoins launched after October 1st)
- Day 2: December 13, 12:00 PM – December 14, 11:59 AM UTC(Memecoins launched after October 1st)
- Day 3: December 14, 12:00 PM – December 15, 11:59 AM UTC (Memecoins launched after December 5th)
- Day 4: December 15, 12:00 PM – December 16, 11:59 AM UTC(Memecoins launched after December 5th)
- Day 5: December 16, 12:00 PM – December 17, 11:59 AM UTC(Memecoins launched after December 5th)
- Day 6: December 17, 12:00 PM – December 18, 11:59 AM UTC(Memecoins launched after December 5th)
- Day 7: December 18, 12:00 PM – December 19, 11:59 AM UTC(Memecoins launched after December 5th)
Eligible memecoins can participate in the competition without registration. The leaderboard will be updated in real time with data provided by Ave.ai. Projects not appearing on the leaderboard are encouraged to reach out to BNB Chain on Discord.
Winning memecoins will receive support and resources from BNB Chain, boosting their visibility and credibility within the ecosystem. This includes the addition of a LisUSD liquidity pool on DEX through ListaDAO, the listing of perpetual contracts on APX, and securing listings on KiloEx. Furthermore, winners will be able to benefit from integration with the trading bot Udex and have the opportunity to explore innovative AI and meme collaborations with Four.meme, elevating their utility and appeal.
To participate in the airdrop, BNB and CAKE holders must meet specific criteria. Eligible participants must hold at least 1 staked BNB (slisBNB, BNBx, stkBNB, or ankrBNB), or 235 CAKE in their wallet by the snapshot time on December 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM UTC.
Additionally, community members can enhance their eligibility by supporting their preferred memecoin. By tweeting with #MEMEonBNBChain and commenting on official posts, they may be selected to join the airdrop eligibility list and increase their chance of receiving airdrops.
