XRP is one of the most promising crypto coins in the current crypto space. Ripple again made headlines after the announcement that Grayscale was launching its XRP trust. The development has bolstered Ripple’s presence and is helping it trend over other notable cryptocurrencies.

Ripple’s CEO Reacts To Grayscale XRP Trust Fund
Grayscale, the financial giant, has recently launched its own XRP Fund. The fund will reportedly offer investors direct access to XRP, paving the way for a potential XRP ETF. The development has helped XRP spike to new highs. The token is currently up 6%, trading at $0.57 in the last 24 hours.
Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, also responded to the recent Grayscale development. He took to X to express his enthusiasm, adding that he was pleasantly surprised when he heard the news of the trust fund launch.
The Ripple chief later said that the development of XRP to this level was “inevitable” and that XRP will soon continue to forge new milestones.
“Was (pleasantly) surprised to see this news… though inevitable, as well?! As I’ve said before, with XRP having regulatory clarity in the US and other countries, I expect it’s only a matter of time for this space to grow.”

The Token’s Price Prediction For This Weekend
According to CoinCodex, Ripple may spike to new levels this weekend. The platform predicts that the token may spike 7% to hit $0.60 by September 15, 2024.
At the same time, the CC predicts that XRP may surge 19% to claim the $0.67 price mark by the end of September 2024.
