Two finance experts, and CEOs of their respective firms, have given their insights on Shiba Inu’s price after the launch of Shibarium. Shibarium, SHIB’s layer-2 network, has been in development for quite some time. Although the network was supposed to go live in 2022, it was pushed back due to developmental delays. However, many, including SHIB lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, have mentioned that the network could potentially go live this month.

The first expert is Adam Garcia, who is the CEO of The Stock Dork. He acknowledges that Shibarium will address a lot of issues in regard to scalability and network congestion. Garcia notes that an improved and more efficient blockchain “could attract greater interest and adoption.” Moreover, he stated that greater interest could lead to more demand for Shiba Inu. This consequently will lead to an increase in price.
Garcia further added that, “There is optimism that the token’s value could experience a notable boost in the short term. As the network capabilities are enhanced, and supply-side pressures are reduced.”
The second expert is Jonathan Merry, who is the CEO of Moneyzine.com. According to Merry, Shiba Inu (SHIB) could reach a new all-time high after Shibarium’s launch. Merry claimed that “As long as Shibarium is used, SHIB will profit.”
The finance expert further added that “If it is extremely successful and becomes a global sensation, SHIB may have a better chance of hitting the $0.01 target with the enhanced Shibarium and the new burn mechanism.”
Can Shiba Inu really hit $0.01?
Although it is possible that SHIB could reach new highs with Shibarium, a target of $0.01 seems very unlikely. Given the vast number of tokens in circulation, the target price does not make sense. If each SHIB token were to be worth 1 cent, without a significant decrease in circulation supply, the market cap will be unrealistically high. However, it is possible that SHIB could potentially become a top-10 crypto, given that the Shibarium launch is successful, increasing on-chain activity for the network.
