CyberKongz And Sky Mavis Join Hands To Launch An NFT Collection

CyberKongz, a non-fungible token startup behind the popular CyberKongz NFTs, has teamed up with Sky Mavis, the video game publisher behind the popular blockchain game Axie Infinity, to launch a new non-fungible token collection on the Ronin network.

In a July 25 blog post, CyberKongz confirmed teaming up with Axie Infinity creator to launch a new non-fungible token collection exclusively on the Ronin network. The highly anticipated NFT collection will mint on July 27 on the Mavis NFT market platform.

Founded by the digital artist Myoo in March 2021, CyberKongz is a unique and randomly generated 2D/3D NFT Social Avatar compatible with online gaming. The NFT collection started as a generative collection of 1000 34×34 pixelated NFT gorillas, now known as the Genesis Collection.

On the other hand, Sky Mavis is a technology company that creates decentralized applications and services. The tech giant is well known in the crypto industry for its popular video game Axie Infinity. Sky Mavis launched its Axie Infinity play to earn a game in 2021.

Under the new integration, CyberKongz and Sky Mavis have combined forces to launch a new NFT collection dubbed “Genkai.” The much-awaited Genkai NFT collection will feature a limited edition of 3,000 NFTs hosted on the Ronin Network.

CyberKongz And Sky Mavis Defy The Bear Market

CyberKongz and Sky Mavis have defied the current crypto bear market and have found it the best time to launch an NFT project. Their much-anticipated project appears amid the recent bear market, which has left many NFT collections shielding more than 70% of their value.

The recent NFT slump began last month and has escalated in the past several weeks. This time, the crypto bear market has yet to spare little-known or established NFT projects. Bored Ape Yacht Club, an all-time top-selling NFT collection, has plunged more than 60% in its floor price and sales volume in the past few weeks.

In the meantime, the much anticipated Genkai NFT collection will be available exclusively on the Mavis NFT market platform starting on July 27, 2023. Each NFT collection will mint at 0.25 WETH or the same value in $Ron. The marketplace will offer one mint per transaction.
