Deadfellaz Arise for Grand Boss Battle Game Jam in The Sandbox

Get ready for a gruesome trip into the voxel realm as The Sandbox summons the Deadfellaz for its latest prize laden Game Jam. Starting immediately, the grisly duo has challenged budding builders far and wide to create an epic, Deadfellaz inspired, boss battle using the game maker software.

For the zombie-driven collaboration, inventive types must put their imaginations to work and develop a fully playable game based on the theme of ‘Boss Battles.’ This means, creating a Sandbox experience that will put gamers to the test as they try to overcome a meaner than average opponent using nothing but their wits and skills in the arena. As a result, each scene must feature at least one formidable ‘boss’ foe, and preferably incorporate elements of the Deadfellaz intellectual property.

In order to enter, participants must build out their experience using The Sandbox’ no-code game maker. Then upload their creation to the drafts gallery, and share it to the community via the paper plane icon within the game itself. In addition, to solidify the entry, those taking part must also complete the associated online submission form for their designs to count!

Those with a design to create must submit their applications before 3pm UTC on September 17. All before voting takes place from September 18 to October 20, and the winners announced on October 21.

Deadfellaz and The Sandbox Prizes Await the Best Entries

Following a month of deliberation and consideration, Deadfellaz and The Sandbox will award a treasure trove of prizes to the best entries in town. As a result, those making the grade will receive the following rewards:

• 1^st Place – 10k $SAND, 1 LAND token, and 1 Deadfellaz NFT
• 2^nd Place – 6k $SAND, and 1 LAND token
• 3^rd Place – 3.5k $SAND, and 1 LAND token
• 4^th – 10^th Place – 1.5k $SAND, and 1 LAND token

All LAND tokens offered in the initiative will come from the Deadfellaz estate, making for some pretty interesting neighbors. In addition, the competition will also award a further 10 prizes of 1k $SAND each judged in 3 categories. In effect, this means that honorable mentions, rising stars, and best newcomers will also receive credit for their efforts.
