Working alongside a legal team for the past seven months to devise a novel form of IP rights, DeLabs — best-known for its cutting-edge NFT projects, DeGods and y00ts — has now deployed a new cryptic website. The portal takes inspiration from the early days of Facebook, coinciding with its forthcoming release of DeGods Season III and y00ts2 next month.
DeGods’ cryptic website teases that community members will soon have the unique opportunity to become official brand licensees by issuing progressive IP rights to NFT holders. Said to be a form of “performance art” and not just some “hippy ideology”, the retro-looking online portal deviates from traditional roadmap methods and is a “radically different way to operate a community-owned brand.” What’s more, it states that upping the dazzle factor of Season III is female avatars and gamified DUST token mechanics.

A Glimpse into DeGods’ Blockchain Breakthroughs
Since originating in 2021, DeGods has skyrocketed to being one of the highest-valued NFT projects on Solana over the last year, which drove the building of y00ts. The NFT has built a community composed around exclusive real-world gatherings and social interactions — one of which was a momentous beach meet-up, enabling all holders to let their hair down and socialize in the sun.
Both DeGods and y00ts migrated from Solana at the beginning of the year, with DeGods switching to the Ethereum mainnet and y00ts switching to the Ethereum scaling network, Polygon, following a $3 million grant from Polygon Labs. Further plotting to go cross-chain, the collection has also engaged with the Ordinals project, bringing specialized DeGods NFTs onto Bitcoin to test future ambitions.
DeGods assets are currently available on secondary marketplaces starting at approximately 7.46 ETH (roughly $14,590). Conversely, y00ts are acquired for around 1.62 ETH ($3,174).
As DeGods Season III and y00ts2 shortly approach, the mysterious online domain is the tip of the iceberg. Manifestly, DeLabs continues to push innovation, bringing new dimensions into the NFT world and assuring community members of a fruitful and exclusive venture ahead.
