Electronic music centered NFT project, the DJenerates Klub, has launched an amazing new DJ contest that will see the winner play live at the iconic Amnesia venue in Ibiza. Thereby, allowing the budding star to fulfill every disc jockey’s wildest dream by playing in front of a jam-packed hall full of adoring music lovers.
The ‘Global DJ Search’ will run in three phases from now until late September, with the eventual winner playing live at Amnesia Ibiza shortly afterwards. The first phase is currently live and involves a leaderboard system run via the project Discord server. As such, Worthy contestants can earn points by participating in weekly challenges and by sharing DJ sets, with the top 24 then progressing to round 2.
The second phase will then see the competition heat up, with the 24 remaining DJs entering into the semi-finals. This will involve each rising star demonstrating their talents at the DJenerates virtual club over 2 weekends, starting September 1, by playing a 1-hour live set. Once the dust has settled and judgement complete, only 4 competitors will remain, who will then make it through to the finals.
4 Budding DJs to Compete in Decentraland’s Amnesia Ibiza Virtual Club
The third and final phase of the competition will see the 4 remaining contestants battle it out at the Amnesia Ibiza virtual venue in Decentraland on September 16. As such, each musician will perform a 2-hour set in a bid to impress the judges, with the entire event broadcast live on Clubbing TV. Following the competition final, an overall winner will then be selected, who will jet off to play a full DJ set at the live IRL venue in Ibiza.
The epic competition will occur in association with DJenerates, DJ Mag, Amnesia Ibiza, Clubbing TV and Klubcoin, and will aim to find the next superstar DJ to enter the clubbing circuit. So, dust of the decks, turn up the volume, and get mixing!
