Notably, large investors, referred to as whales, have taken notice of Dogecoin’s resurgence. According to IntoTheBlock, there has been a remarkable 600% increase in DOGE transactions valued at over $1 million in the past month. This surge in whale activity coincided with a significant rise in DOGE’s price, which recently surged over 15%.
At present, Dogecoin is trading over 14% higher at $0.1532, with trading volume reaching $2.9 billion, marking a substantial 20% increase compared to the previous day. Analyst Ali Martinez revealed that Dogecoin whales acquired 25 million DOGE in the past 72 hours, totaling approximately $3.75 million.
Increased whale activity, especially in significant purchases, is often interpreted as a bullish sign in the cryptocurrency market. With DOGE gaining such momentum, many enthusiasts believe that the long-anticipated $1 milestone may be within reach.
