Merging luxury and digital fashion yet again, the iconic fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton (LV) has revealed an exclusive offering for its already existing NFT owners: a limited-edition virtual and physical mini trunk designed by the brand’s iconic artistic director, Nicolas Ghesquière.
Only 200 privileged owners of a “Treasure Trunk” NFT will be able to adorn this stylish fashion item dubbed “Via Tile Trunk”, providing they fork out €6,000 on the official LV website to own one.

The Finer Details of LV’s Via Tile Trunk
Both digital and tangible versions of the Via Tile Trunk are crafted in white and gold hues, featuring LV’s renowned checkerboard pattern, famously recognized as “Damier”.
However, LV describes the digital version, saying, “As an ode to the historic Damier motif, this graphic creation materializes, pixel by pixel, in a play of Louis Vuitton’s digital craftsmanship — the savoir-faire of infinite possibilities.”
Infusing exclusivity and gamification, the primary announcement of this coveted fashion item spoke of a “quest” at Paris’s Champs-Élysées, where it was first showcased during LV’s Spring/Summer catwalk. Nonetheless, the trunk won’t become available for collection in the real world until March 2024.
Marking the first time Ghesquière has played a key role in one of LV’s unique Web3 projects, the luxury fashion giant continues to push boundaries in the virtual realm, building on the triumph of its past blokchain-based endeavors with another Louis Vuitton NFT trunk initiative.
