extra mile and tv asahi group have announced the launch of Japan’s first accelerator program for blockchain gaming. The TV Asahi blockchain games project will provide developers with the resources and support they need to successfully launch a web3 game.
The accelerator program conceived by extra mile and Tokyo’s tv asahi group will furnish teams with a broad range of services to help realize their web3 gaming concepts. In addition to benefiting from game incubation and publishing, developers will be able to tap into community marketing and token support.
TV Asahi blockchain games extended an open invitation to industry participants interested in joining the accelerator program. In addition to developers, extra mile and tv asahi group are seeking the involvement of investors, IP holders, and blockchain service providers. By bringing these stakeholders together, tv asahi blockchain games will provide a full-stack service for web3 game developers.
The tv asahi blockchain game project will help game developers liaise with licensors and anime production committees owning IP for music, video, and other multimedia. Negotiating IP rights is one of the greatest barriers game developers face due to the cost and complexity of a domain that lies outside their specialty.
In addition to helping games studios secure the permissions required to create licensed content, the accelerator program will provide mentoring and advisory services when it comes to launch. This will maximize the prospects of the game attracting audiences across key target markets and regions, including traditional gamers and web3 users.
Game developers will receive support through every stage of the process, from ideation to alpha and beta release. There will also be support provided for marketing, token design, and integration of other web3 elements such as NFTs.
tv asahi blockchain games have already incubated their first blockchain game, Neobred, which is scheduled to launch soon. Neobred is an NFT racing and horse breeding game created by Developer NFT Technology. Players can birth horses, train them, and enter them in online races.
