Fans of the popular Fox Entertainment production ‘The Masked Singer‘ are set to enjoy exclusive content by owning NFTs. This comes after the show introduced a digital fan experience that features generative art. These NFTs will also allow fans to vote on live shows and access any other token-gated material.
The move comes after years of consideration and paves the way for other industry players that wish to offer similar experiences to their audiences. To bring its NFT strategy to life, Fox established Blockchain Creative Labs (BCL) in 2021.
Over the subsequent two years, the company and its blockchain arm partnered with various leading Web3 companies, such as MoonPay, Alchemy, and Web3Auth, to develop the interactive experience dubbed “The Maskverse.”
Now fans of the popular singing show, which is in its ninth season, can sign up for a free “Loyalty Pass” by linking their crypto wallets, such as MetaMask. Those without one need to worry, as they can create a new wallet on the official website using a social media profile.

The Masked Singer Loyalty Passes Come With A Variety Of Benefits
Once fans have acquired a loyalty pass, they will then be eligible to vote on which character advances to the next round during live airings of The Masked Singer. This will happen by scanning QR codes that will be accessible from portable devices. The more holders participate and make the right guess, the more the loyalty pass will level up.
In addition, participants will also get a chance to own one of the 1,050 generative art NFTs that are part of the project. The NFTs have been developed by digital artist Waxbones and will set collectors back about $50 each. This NFT will then allow holders to access exclusive material from the show.
In the near future, the show intends to launch an online merchandising store where holders of the loyalty passes can redeem digital points for products.
