Truth Labs, the company responsible for the reputed Goblintown NFT collection, is preparing to debut “Goblintown Season 2.” But, this time, there is a twist: lousy traders will have priority access to the mint.
The new NFTs revolve around Big Inc, a fictional conglomerate in Goblintown that brainwashes animals into joining its workforce. The digital assets showcase profile pictures (PFPs) of the characters — all of which have stern glances.
Big Inc still needs to announce the Goblintown Season 2 mint date and time. For now, one the main points that’s known is that it will prioritize the top 1,000 worst traders, giving them 24 hours to mint one the forthcoming digital assets, cost-free.
The main reason behind this incentive includes Goblintown Season 2 wanting to celebrate community and culture in Web3 during both bullish and bearish times. Holders of other NFT collections created by Truth Labs — Goblintown, Grumpl and Illuminati — will also have exclusive access to the Big Inc mint for free.

The Mint Process – Points to Consider
Truth Labs will evaluate participants wallet data to check their NFT transactions. “Down Bad Board” traders will then have priority access.
Moreover, in a strategic move for the second mint, Goblintown hopes to tap into the expanding popularity of meme coin PEPE, which has accumulated a 2,100% increase in price this month alone, adding to its significant market cap of around $500 million. By including PEPE for payments, Goblintown hopes to boost its token utility.
Mint participants can pay 0.096 Ether (ETH) for one of the season 2 collectibles, equivalent to around $175 at this time of writing. However, those wanting to pay using PEPE will receive a 50% discount, bringing the NFT price to 0.048 ETH (around $88).
The first mint of Goblintown NFTs, in May 2022, racked in $7 million in sales. By adding a unique approach to its Season 2, the Goblin-themed collectibles hope to make waves in the NFT space yet again.
