Immutable Games has announced the global launch of its much-anticipated mobile role-playing game, Guild of Guardians, set to release on May 15th for both Apple’s iOS App Store and Google’s Android Play Store. The release will welcome players worldwide to explore the mythical realm of Elderym, amassing a powerful team of Guardians to defeat the Dread.
With a development team comprised of veterans from AAA studios such as Riot Games, Activision, Square Enix, and Bandai Namco, Guild of Guardians (GOG) has been a highly anticipated game for sometime. Moreover, the soft launch in Canada, Australia, and Indonesia resulted in a 4.9 rating on the App Store.
Introducing New NFT Features
Alongside its global launch, Guild of Guardians will introduce The Altar of Sacrifice feature on March 25th—a blockchain-based crafting system that enables players to combine NFTs into new configurations for fresh rewards. To commemorate the launch and the new feature, GOG will host Eri’s Grand Opening event, where players can obtain Prayer NFTs and ‘sacrifice’ them to summon a new series of Guardians.
The Altar of Sacrifice enriches the game’s ecosystem by allowing players to merge and relinquish existing assets to discover new NFTs. This creates an engaging method for developers to offer new recipes and balance the game’s economy.

Guild of Guardians, having amassed over 1 million pre-registered users and a dedicated community of over 400,000, is positioned for a successful global introduction. Built on Immutable zkEVM and powered by Polygon, the platform provides a gaming-specific blockchain solution that ensures scalability and incorporates player-friendly features.
One such feature is the Immutable Passport, which offers a simplified onboarding process with passwordless sign-on and automated wallet creation, vital for welcoming new players to the Guild of Guardians universe.
