Hugely popular farming and exploration romp, Pixels, has announced that it will leave Polygon in favor of the Ronin Network. This marks the latest title to put its faith in Sky Mavis’ very own custom-built gaming blockchain.
The move represents a major coup for the Ronin network, which has been busy expanding its empire in recent months. Now, it will inherit 1.5 million monthly transactions, 100k active wallets, and 5k daily users to add to its mighty portfolio.
Through Pixels, Web3 gamers can embark on adventures of the farming and exploration kind. Essentially, allowing players to cultivate resources, build their own personal homestead, and socialize with likeminded individuals.
On their travels, virtual farmers will acquire the native $BERRY gaming token, which they can use to acquire non-NFT items and LAND. However, should they wish to take things a little further, users can either purchase NFT LAND on marketplaces such as OpenSea, or borrow a slice on the rental market.
