Ripple CEO Urges Trump To Fire US SEC Chairman
Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, took to X to share a congratulatory post for Donald Trump. Garlinghouse shared a 100-day checklist for Trump to work on, urging the US president to fire US SEC chair Gary Gensler on day one without further delays. He later suggested three names that he would prefer to lead SEC soon, notably selecting Giancarlo and Brooks of Gallagher as potential candidates suitable for the role.
“@realDonaldTrump, Congratulations! Some fodder for your first 100-day checklist to get things moving: Fire Gensler. Day 1, no delays. In his place, appoint Giancarlo, Brooks, or Gallagher; they’d be massive upgrades in rebuilding the rule of law (and reputation) at the SEC.”
Garlinghouse later suggested that Trump host a family dinner to get “Rs and Ds moving the digital asset market structure bill forward.” In addition, the Ripple CEO also urged Trump to shed certain clarity on ETH, whether it’s a security or not.

Ripple (XRP) is up for a dramatic change. If Trump manages to fire SEC chair Gary Gensler, as promised, it may bode well for XRP price shortly.
