Get ready for the final race – Automobili Lamborghini is set to conclude its NFT manoeuvre that coincides with its 60th anniversary celebrations. Dubbed “The Epic Road Trip,” the NFT initiative kicked off last August, with the luxury car maker dropping four limited-edition, and one rare edition NFTs each month over the last seven months. Now the final installation will roar forward on the 20th of March and will reward collectors with its now trademark bonus content.
Depending on the kind of NFTs held, collectors will unlock various exhilarating utilities and high-octane experiences. These include access to the collectors-only Discord community, exclusive mobile and desktop wallpapers, a Centro Stile sketch from Mitja Borket, Lamborghini’s Head of Design, a VIP tour of the automaker’s headquarters, a GLB file to experience its Metaverse, and an exclusive first look at the latest Lamborghini model.
According to Christian Mastro, Marketing Director of Automobili Lamborghini, the company is committed to innovating, and this extends beyond its super sports cars. It touches all its business aspects, especially as they work towards reaching the younger generations.
He adds,
“The Epic Road Trip is the latest example of our unconventional approach, which has powered us for six decades. As we celebrate 60 years of forward-looking attitude, we want to reward customers of the past, present, and future for their loyalty – giving them the chance to get further involvement and connection with the brand.”
It’s Only the Beginning for Lamborghini in Web3
The NFTs have been created with the help of INVNT.ATOM and Web3 Pro and can be accessed from the Lamborghini NFT Marketplace, with the final drop of this epic journey taking place later in March. Furthermore, in the spirit of celebrating 60 years of excellence, the company will offer an additional 60th-anniversary digital collectible.
Individuals visiting its dealerships or attending the anniversary celebrations can scan a QR code to claim the collectible. In addition, the commemorative collectible will be airdropped to collectors of the Epic Road Trip. However, this privilege is only reserved for those that have purchased 2 or more NFTs across the 8 drops.
Holders of these commemorative NFTs will receive token-gated access to an exclusive, AMA-style session with senior Lamborghini executives, where they will discuss the company’s past, present, and future.
Despite “The Epic Road Trip“ coming to an end, it’s just the start of the Web3 journey for Lamborghini. The company intends to continue to develop innovative engagement platforms that deepen its relationships with customers and fans.
