Magic Eden Rewards Diamonds to ETH NFT Traders Today

Magic Eden, in collaboration with Yuga Labs, recently launched a royalty-supportive marketplace on Ethereum (ETH). Today, through this initiative, the two NFT titans are granting ‘Diamonds’ to OG ETH NFT collectors.

Shortly, individuals engaging with ETH NFTs can start accruing Diamond rewards through Magic Eden’s system, which will honor past transactions and trading activities as early as 2017, as announced in a recent X post.

The NFT marketplace’s rewards distribution is part of its broader universal multi-chain rewards program, which opens its arms to NFT enthusiasts from not only Ethereum but also Bitcoin, Solana and Polygon.

Its primary aim is to make digital ownership accessible to all. “From collectors to creators and traders, we’re building the biggest, best, and most rewarding platform ever that pushes forward our mission to make digital ownership universal,” confirms Magic Eden in an official blog post.

Mysterious Diamonds garner acclaim

The Web3 community is keenly watching today’s Diamond drop, which solely acknowledges ETH NFT engagements, though the specifics of the rewards’ utility have yet to be revealed.

While the full details of Diamonds are still under wraps, the Web3 community is buzzing with speculation. Many connect these rewards to the anticipated release of the $NFT token by the Non-Fungible DAO, though Magic Eden has yet to confirm this link.
