The Metaplex Foundation has announced that it will deploy its product suite on Sonic SVM, Solana’s first gaming Layer 2. This collaboration is expected to drive on the advancement of game development with Metaplex’s digital asset protocol, which has turned into a leading digital asset protocol on Solana.
With Sonic, Metaplex is going to bring its on-chain programs and developer tools, designed to provide prime gaming experiences to the SVM chain. Notably, it will be the first deployment of Metaplex products outside the Solana Mainnet.
The Metaplex Protocol is a decentralized platform operating on the Solana blockchain that gives creators, developers, and businesses a platform for building dApps on Solana and the SVM.
