Popular centralised exchange and NFT marketplace OKX and gaming-focused blockchain Immutable have announced the impending release of a launchpad for web3 gaming NFTs.
This will allow users to purchase tokenised in-game items and other game-related NFTs for titles on Immutable’s zkEVM network, made possible thanks to OKX’s integration of the Immutable zkEVM.
As part of this launch, Immutable will integrate the OKX wallet within their existing chain-wide web3 profile, the Immutable Passport, plus incorporate OKX’s NFT marketplace into Immutable’s NFT order book.

What does OKX x Immutable mean for players?
This partnership is the latest in a string of headline-grabbing moves from Immutable. Exactly one year ago, they announced a key partnership with fellow gaming and entertainment-focused blockchain, Polygon. Six months ago, they formed an official partnership with Amazon Web Services, and just a few months ago, they made public a working relationship with Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab.
The collaboration between OKX and Immutable comes at a time when many of Immutable’s leading titles, which have been in development for many years, are building towards long-awaited releases, including mobile RPG title Guild of Guardians, MMOFPS title MetalCore, and tactical TCG Shardbound.

The web3 gaming launchpad is scheduled for release in the coming months, possibly to coincide with the release of Guild of Guardians on May 15.
