The crypto market continued its decline on Friday, with the Bitcoin price trading as low as $62,300.
The meme coin market capitalization corrected by 4% today, data from CoinGecko reveals. And yet, Popcat is showing impressive resilience, climbing by nearly 5% today to trade at $0.63. Experts believe that the popular Solana meme coin is on the cusp of a major breakout which could catapult it to new highs.
Popcat’s mid-cap status means that it shows little correlation with the broader market outlook.
Similarly, new low-cap meme coins such as Pepe Unchained are seeing impressive growth in their presales, with experts calling them some of the best meme coins to buy now.
Will Popcat Price Reach A New All-Time High In August?
Meme coin enthusiasts are extremely bullish on Popcat, especially in the long term.
Solana meme coins have outperformed most other asset groups during this bull cycle, with gems such as Dogwifhat and Bonk displaying meteoric ascent. Popcat appears to be the next in line.
The Popcat price reached a new all-time high on July 21st and has witnessed a healthy correction since. In fact, it is currently trading 34% below its all-time high and is poised for a bounce back.
Popular crypto trader CRG (@MacroCRG) believes that the bottom appears to be close for Popcat. He expects the meme coin to show a consolidatory price action over the coming days, followed by a V-shaped bullish recovery.
As previously mentioned, CRG is especially optimistic regarding Popcat’s long-term prospects and expects it to reach a “multi-billion” market capitalization.
He is also not the only one. Crypto analyst Cypher (@Call_me_Cypher) – who has close to 50k followers on X – believes that now could be a good time for sidelined investors to get into Popcat.
He expects the Solana meme coin to reach a new all-time high of $2 in the coming weeks.

However, the bulls still have their work cut out for them. The Popcat price has failed to flip the $0.65 resistance into support thus far. A weekly close above this level is imperative if the meme coin is to push towards its all-time high in August.
On the contrary, a rejection from this level would mean that the bottom is not yet in for Popcat.
Experts Also Call Pepe Unchained One of The Best Meme Coins To Buy Now
Low-cap and mid-cap meme coins show little correlation to the broader market price action. In particular, presale tokens allow investors to focus on the fundamentals, shielding them from short-term price action.
Unsurprisingly, new meme coins such as Pepe Unchained (PEPU) are in high demand. PEPU has already raised nearly $7 million in its presale, impressive smart money investors with its strong early demand.
