Game-Changing Dynamics in Season 2
In Season 2, “Tides of Fate” is God’s Unchained’s first pressing card expansion since last year’s “Mortal Judgement”. A whopping 142 collectible cards are now being featured alongside 9 distinctive chain cards, which link to the effects of others.
Additionally new to the game, when using a certain amount of Mana (the energy used when using God abilities and playing cards), players can anticipate a groundbreaking “Manasurge Mechanic”, which grants cards bonus effects to innovate gameplay further.
When partaking in a new metagame, players will also get the opportunity to choose between factions — “Mechs” or “Dragons” — to help their team claim victory in the unique Atlantic-like backdrop, “The Shimmering Atlant”. Depending on which side wins, two legendary cards will be impacted, and a cosmetic card will arise, presenting the winner’s crystal colors in the in-game tournament named “Skirmishes”.
Gods Unchained’s Extra Advantages
Gods Unchained is notably boosting its support for user-created content, offering early access, exclusive rewards, and greater visibility for those that get stuck in as part of its “Content Creator Program”. The program encourages gamers to unleash their imagination and receive $GODS tokens spanning from 300 to 6,000 a month. Extra rewards will also be granted when breaking viewership records.
Looking ahead, the game is preparing to go fully mobile alongside desktop following its successful pre-alpha debut on Android, which witnessed more than 60,000 app sessions in less than a month. Immutable Games is collaborating with the mobile solutions provider iLogos to make this happen.
