UGC-focused web3 gaming platform Seedworld has officially launched its Seed Roots NFT sale today, September 30, 2024 at 13:00 UTC.
The sale offers 20,000 Seed Roots NFTs across 30 tiers, each with varying prices and supplies.
The first six tiers are limited to specific participants, whilst the public sale will open with Tier 7 on October 4.

Seed Roots are foundational NFTs within Seedworld’s ecosystem, allowing holders to provide grants to developers and creators.
These NFTs enable participants to support the creation of new content on the platform. In return, Seed Roots holders will receive rewards in $SWORLD, Seedworld’s native token.
The Seed Roots NFTs also have upgrade potential, which will expand their utility over time. They are designed to integrate with other platform assets, such as Land NFTs, creating opportunities for enhanced rewards.

The Seed Roots sale is structured into 30 tiers, each with different supplies and prices.
The sale began with Tier 1, offering 1,509 NFTs at a price of $500 (ETH equivalent). As the tiers progress, higher-numbered tiers will offer fewer NFTs at increasing prices.
Tier 7, which marks the start of the public sale, will feature 943 NFTs priced at $1,130 (ETH equivalent) and will be available from October 4 at 13:00 UTC.
Once purchased, all Seed Roots NFTs will be transfer-locked for 12 months, though there are provisions for exceptions in specific cases, such as compromised wallets.

Seed Roots enable holders to issue grants to developers and creators within Seedworld without needing to participate in traditional DAO voting processes.
Rewards for Seed Roots holders will be generated through in-game transactions involving $SWORLD tokens and the platform’s currency, Ame.
Seed Roots can be upgraded over time, expanding their functionality. This includes the option to connect them with Land NFTs to unlock additional features and earning potential.
Seedworld has also announced that 15% of the revenue from the Seed Roots sale will be used for token buybacks of $SWORLD, which will help support the platform’s token economy.

Seedworld plans to introduce more functionality for Seed Roots in several phases.
Initially, holders will be able to stake $SWORLD tokens to earn rewards. Future phases will introduce additional features such as upgrades, prediction markets, and opportunities to engage in in-game activities to increase reward generation.
Participants who purchase Seed Roots before the $SWORLD Token Generation Event (TGE) on October 11 will receive a 20% token unlock when the event occurs.
