The nascent Shiba Inu Shibarium blockchain is gearing up to onboard its first digital ID native domain naming service as early as next month. Developed by Proof of Human, a Wyoming-based VC firm, ShibariumID aims to bring .shib domain functionality and a streamlined domain management experience to the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

ShibariumID to introduce Web3 naming functionality
With domain registration and integrated marketplace features, the Shiba Inu Digital ID system seeks to make naming more accessible to regular SHIB investors. ShibariumID could spur wider adoption by removing Web3 naming friction points.
Built-in domain discovery and quick registration status checks aim to smooth out the acquisition process. Once secured, domains can be seamlessly managed via ShibariumID’s centralized hub. Owners can view domains, renew registrations, and oversee ownership records from a unified portal.

ShibariumID also offers a native marketplace supporting domain trading. By consolidating liquidity pools, the service seeks to establish .shib as the go-to naming convention within the SHIB community and kickstart a micro-economy around these blockchain-based domains.
