In a recent tweet, it has been disclosed that Shib the metaverse is soon to premiere. Shiba Inu supporters are excited to receive the announcement. It was further noted that the premiere will come with a massive celebration, as the metaverse is on to debut at SXSW.
A metaverse happy hour is being held by Shiba Inu and Departure Lounge. Visitors are being welcomed to take part in the event that will take place on the 11th of March, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CT. The event will help to conclude press day and start off the SXSW interactive track.

Shiba Inu has more exciting events in store for visitors
South by Southwest is also referred to as SXSW and colloquially termed South By. It is an annual conglomeration of different entertainment events such as Parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences. The event usually takes place in Austin, Texas, and is scheduled to take place from March 12-14.
On the SXSW official website, it was noted that visitors can join the XR Exhibition and take part in “The Dark VR” immersive music video experience.

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu community members might just be in for a surprise this month. The community has been anticipating the launch of the Shibarium layer-2 scaling solution. After months of waiting, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer at Shiba Inu has revealed that the project launch might be right around the corner.
The lead developer made this known in a cryptic tweet, to his 899,000 twitter followers. According to Shytoshi Kusama, the team is currently listening to a song on repeat, while they finish up.
