VeeFriends and legendary hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg have teamed up to deliver an exciting adventure on Burn Island. Together, the formidable duo have announced the ‘Please Take a Step Back’ collaborative NFT collection and song.
Originally announced during VeeCon 2022, the collaboration will take place over three phases and will give fans a chance to win amazing NFTs and exclusive experiences. The first phase, dubbed Eruption 6: “Burn to Mint,” will take place from April 28 to May 8, and will commemorate the first anniversary of VeeCon and the launch of Snoop’s partnered single. To participate, users must burn their VeeCon 2022 NFT tickets on a 1-1 ratio, who will then receive an NFT from the ‘Please Take a Step Back’ NFT collection for their troubles.

Huge NFT Prizes on the Cards
The second phase, “Burn to Compete & Ape In,” coincides with the release the official ‘Please Take a Step Back’ music video, and features high-stakes competitions for collectors to participate in. However, in exchange for the opportunity to win, fans will need to make a sacrifice. Specifically, they must permanently burn their “Please take a step back” NFTs to be eligible for both contests.
The first competition will give participants the chance to win a Bored Ape Yacht Club #1452 from GaryVee’s own personal collection. While second contest, will offer up ten individual prizes of a Mutant Ape Yacht Club #12904, Koda Otherdeed for Otherside #28379, Bored Kenel Club #1452, for the top 3, and 1,000 ApeCoins each for the rest.
In the third and final ‘Burn to Attend’ phase of the initiative, ten winners will join Gary Vee in attending the highly anticipated High School Reunion concert featuring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa on August 9. To enter the draw, fans will need to permanently burn their ‘Please Take a Step Back’ NFTs.
