Renowned rapper Snoop Dogg joins forces with VeeFriends, a unique NFT collection by prominent social media figure and crypto investor Gary Vaynerchuk, to release an innovative NFT collection.
The new partnership plans to release a tokenized track titled “Please Take a Step Back“, marking the first phase of Snoop Dogg and VeeFriends’ collaboration.
The eagerly awaited tokenized track will be available on April 28, 2023.
VeeFriends, established in 2021, is a limited edition NFT collection designed by Gary Vaynerchuk’s Vayner3, comprising 10,300 hand-drawn images of animals, humans, and words.
The diverse VeeFriends NFT Collection offers various NFT types, such as character tokens, access tokens, and gift goats, each with unique perks like event access, mentorship from Vaynerchuk, and more.
Burn Island Eruptions
The Burn Island enhancement to VeeFriends aims to broaden the project’s scope and strengthen the intellectual property of the digital tokens.
To engage in “Burn Island,” NFT collectors must possess particular collections, rarities, or a combination thereof, with requirements being sequential and non-overlapping.
“Burn Island” eruptions have designated start and end dates. Those interested must sign up for a VeeFriends account on the VeeFriends website to participate. VeeFriends NFT holders are the primary contenders in “Burn Island” eruptions.
For phase 1 of the Snoop Dogg collaboration, Burn Island is calling on all VeeCon 2022 Ticket holders to participate in a unique event by burning one VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFT in exchange for a mint from the “Please Take a Step Back” collection. This exclusive chance to burn VeeCon 2022 ticket NFTs and acquire the new collection will be accessible for a limited time only, between April 28, 2023 and May 8, 2023.
Phase 2 allows “Please Take a Step Back” NFT holders to enter two Burn Island Eruptions honoring Snoop’s NFT collection, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and his renowned Bored Ape, “Dr. Bombay”. There will be a contest where the victor shall be awarded the ultimate prize from GaryVee’s BAYC collection: Bored Ape Yacht Club #1452.
The next event in Phase 2 involves a competition where the first three winners will acquire esteemed Yuga Labs NFTs, such as Mutant Ape Yacht Club #12904, Koda Otherdeed for Otherside #28379, and Bored Kennel Club #1452. Additionally, the fourth to tenth place winners shall obtain ApeCoin ($APE). To participate in these contests, entrants must permanently burn NFTs from the “Please Take a Step Back” collection.
In Phase 3, ten lucky individuals will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience, attending the High School Reunion Concert featuring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa with Gary Vee in Atlanta on August 9, 2023.
