Major brand partnership Metaverse, The Sandbox, has launched an exciting new VoxEdit contest in association with the grisly world of the Walking Dead. As such, fans of the iconic graphic novel can create a voxel asset that captures the essence of the franchise to stand a chance of winning a share in 15000 $SAND.
In order to participate, the creatively inclined must use The Sandbox’ VoxEdit software to build an animated NFT asset. Taking their inspiration from the original run of comics that snowballed into the unstoppable The Walking Dead universe. As such, participants can unleash their voxel building skills by recreating characters such as Daryl, Michone, and Rick, reliving blood curdling moments from the series, or building an asset that plays homage to a favorite scene. However, due to licensing restrictions, the NFTs cannot feature content from the TV series.
The competition is open from now until 11:59 PM UTC on May 14, with the results unveiled on June 3. After which, the top 10 contenders will all receive a share in the 15k $SAND rewards pool, with first, second and third place receiving 6k, 3.5k and 2k respectively, and the remaining runners up each taking home 500 $SAND. However, as is usually the case with The Sandbox, there may be a significant delay between then and the distribution of prizes.

Entry Requirements for The Sandbox Walking Dead VoxEdit Contest
To enter the competition, eager builders must create a digital NFT asset using The Sandbox’ very own VoxEdit software. Then share a GIF of their creation via Twitter, being sure to tag both @TheSandboxGame and @VoxEdit, as well as including the #VoxEditWeekly hashtag, while also cementing their entry by completing the required submission form.
In accordance with the rules of the game, all entries must comply with the law as set out by The Sandbox. As such, applicants must only take inspiration from The Walking Dead series of comic books, and include no unrelated content. In addition to being wholly original, of high quality, and most importantly, contain the kind of family friendly content you’d be happy to show your grandma!
