The Water price skyrocketed 147% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.0009314 as of 03:41 a.m. EST on trading volume that exploded 263% to $135 million.
This comes after football star Lionel Messi posted a picture promoting the token. The price of Water soared from as low as $0.00031 to $0.00147 after the post but has since fallen back to trade slightly below the rectangle pattern, according to data from GeckoTerminal.
Messi’s post to his 504 million Instagram followers featured a picture of himself alongside the Water token logo but did not provide any further information.

Messi has become the first celebrity to publicly support the meme coin, with the team teasing a deal in recent days.
Water Meme Coin Could Soar Over The Rectangle Pattern
The Water price has been trading within the rectangle pattern since the end of June, with the price moving between horizontal support and resistance levels. The rectangle seemed to end with a breakout below, leading to a massive retrace to the $0.0003122 support level.
With the recent surge, the price of Water has since been on an uptrend, breaching the lower boundary of the rectangle, and dropping thereafter.
WATER trades slightly above the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) which is an indication that WATER could be on an uptrend in the coming days. However, for a sustained bullish rally, the token’s price has to overcome the 200-day SMA, which acts as the immediate resistance level at $0.00113.
Moreover, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also introduces more bullish prospects. The blue MACD line crosses above the orange signal line, representing a bullish crossover.
Water Price Prediction
The Water price analysis shows a bullish bias. The bulls aim to push the token above the lower boundary of the rectangle pattern as they target a breakout above the $0.016 resistance zone.
However, with Water’s price already breaking below the pattern twice, it appears to be trending bearishly. In this scenario, bears may gain control, potentially pushing the token towards the next support level at $0.00068.
